After confirmed your phone no., enable the check box of ‘Turn on notification’ for getting notification who post anything on your timeline. Then select the ‘Only me’ option to set you phone number private that only you can see.
Then go to ‘privacy’ option & edit the ‘Login Approval’ option to set the more security on your account login.
Now enable the ‘two-factor authentication’ for getting extra layer of security for your account login.
After enable the above, logout from your account & again sign in to your Facebook account by providing user name & account password.
After that you will see the change, here you will get the mobile notification to your registered number that ‘is it you who want to access the facebook account from that location’, if you select ‘yes’, then you have successfully entered to your account. This process will be only happened if you are using a Smartphone. If your sim card of that registered no. inserted into none smartphone based device then you will get the OTP no. & put that number to this field & entered your account, if code not received then click on ‘didn’t received code’ option as follows,
So, click on ‘text me login code’ again option for non smartphone users for getting OTP code to their registered mobile phone. You may choose a ‘other option’ for getting OTP by voice call option.
After confirmed it you may received a message that if you save the browser or not? If you select the ‘save browser’ then you will not getting any OTP to your mobile, because your system treated as trusted device on that device, so keep in mind, always select ‘Don’t Save’ option as follows,
Now you have to required to secure your page activities…
First go to your home page then click on the top right ‘Question’ mark icon, then select the ‘Privacy checkup’ option.
A basic privacy checkup page will be opened. Here you select who will see your post, as per your requirement you also select the Public or Friend or Friend of Friends option. We recommended always select the ‘Friend’ option.
Keep your personal information private like your email, phone no., date of birth & others by choosing ‘Only me’ option.
Go to ‘setting’ option & select the ‘Privacy’ option, here you can set ‘who can see your post’ option, we recommended that choose ‘friend’ option. Now set the option of ‘who can contact me’, as we recommended that choose friend of friends option, that only your friend of friends send you a friend request, If you set here as ‘Public’, then anyone can send you a friend request. Set the who can lookup me option, here set only ‘Friends’, because only your friends can see all your contact information like phone no, email id etc.
Now go to the ‘Timeline & Tagging Setting’ option, here you must set the option of ‘who can add things to your timeline?, here you may set ‘only me’, if you want to nobody can add the post on your timeline, otherwise set as ‘Friend’ option that only your friends will be able to post, if you set as ‘Public’ then anybody can post on your timeline that will be very dangerous, because your FB accounts with connected with your families, so, anybody can post any abuse things on your timeline, so, in that case you may enable the option of ‘review the friends post option on your timeline’, After enable it, when any post tagged on your timeline by your friend, then every time required your approval to post that thing on your timeline as follows,
If you want to hide your friend list from the public, then do the following step…
Go to your profile, select ‘Friend’ option, click on ‘edit’ option just beside the ‘+find friend’ option.
After that select the ‘Edit Privacy’ option,
